Since Anmore began, we’ve been fortunate to work with many exceptional horses and support each horse’s journey from a young age.
While it’s always bittersweet to see a horse leave Anmore, we take pride in pairing the right partnerships and following their progress. We are delighted to watch each horse continue their career with new owners who share our passion for developing horses to their full potential.
Here, you can discover some of the horses who have been part of the Anmore team and are now enjoying life with their new owners. If you’re looking for your next horse, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly.
We have purchased two young horses through Jezz Palmer at Anmore Dressage, and both purchases have been a completely seamless experience from start to finish.
More importantly, the horses were not just as described. They were significantly better. That level of consistency reflects the standards at Anmore Dressage as a whole and, in particular, Jezz’s honesty, judgement, and eye for a horse.
It is immediately obvious that these horses have had the very best possible start. Their manners are impeccable, their temperaments exceptional, and they are genuinely happy in themselves. That does not happen by chance. It comes from correct production, attention to detail, and a very happy, tight knit team who are clearly skilled, committed, and genuinely care about what they do.
What really stood out with our most recent young horse was the care taken to get everything right. Jezz wanted to take her to her first show himself to ensure it was a positive and correct experience. We went to watch and were blown away. She was relaxed and confident, tacked up and warmed up as if she had been doing it all her life. She won her classes, then had her tack taken off and stood quietly by the lorry, completely settled and content.
As I write this, it almost sounds like we have bought a couple of happy hackers rather than serious competition horses. The reality could not be further from that. One, other than just being the best boy ever, has Petplan Regional and National titles, along with Regional Novice and Elementary titles and a Reserve National title. Our newest mare, after just a few months with us, won her young horse class and would have qualified for Nationals at her Regional had we not had the wrong spurs on. She is absolutely stunning, inside and out. Their temperaments are outstanding and we feel incredibly lucky to have these horses.
After being badly burnt in a previous purchase elsewhere, I would not buy through anyone else now. While this is very much a testimonial for Anmore Dressage as a team, our trust and loyalty sit firmly with Jezz as part of the Anmore Dressage team. Being able to pick up the phone, ask for advice, and get honest, knowledgeable support after the sale is invaluable. Anmore Dressage produces horses correctly and with care, and Jezz’s involvement is a huge part of why we would not hesitate to recommend them so highly.
